Cannabinoid profiling informs patients about the concentrations of active cannabinoids in their medicine. Researchers have identified over 113 cannabinoid compounds, many of which possess distinct medicinal benefits. An test to establish the concentration of the active ingredients in a medicinal product is a requirement by the MCC (Medicines Control Council) according to GMPc (Current Good Manufacturing Practice). Potency should be tested on all medical cannabis products or derivatives thereof. As is the case with any pharmaceutical product, the active ingredients in cannabis should be clearly labelled with a concentration of these actives associated to each.

Residual Solvents  - A range  of organic solvents are used for manufacturing pharmaceuticals and herbal medicines. These solvents can be detected as residues of such processing in the final products. Solvent residues should be controlled through Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and proper quality control.
This combination of customer knowledge and advancing analytical methods will increase the safety of products in this industry. Proper quality control of these products is thus the starting point to producing safe medical cannabis.

This certificate indicates Cannaheal's Full Extract Phytocannabinoid Oil has passed the relevant United States Pharmacopeial test specifications.
